I loveee New Asia Market! They have a wide variety of Asian foods that are really difficult to find at other stores in Groton. Their produce is pretty great too! Because of this store, I am able to make my comfort family Korean foods :) And the owners are also super nice and caring! :)
This hidden gem is a wonderful shop, full of items you truly can’t find anywhere else locally. It’s very crowded & a bit hard to find things, the inventory is spilling over into palettes on the floor— but it makes every visit kind of like a scavenger hunt. The perishable items selection has only grown over the years and gets better all the time. The staff are always so friendly & very quick. We love finding our unique grocery items here!
I love coming here and finding new things to bring home and try. They've got all kinds of foods & treats that everyone in my family enjoys. I'd go a couple times a week if I could. 😂 *Update* I still love coming here and highly recommend checking out all of the different things they have.
What a cool place. There's fresh produce, noodles, spices, frozen foods, sweets, you make it. A gentleman who worked there was very helpful (I was making homemade kimchi) in finding some rather esoteric items (they had ALL of them, by the way). They also make their own kimchi and sell it there, incidentally. A cheerful little place; I'll definitely be returning.
I've loved this market for years, even before it moved across the street. This location is more convenient because you don't have to go through the shopping center, speed bumps and traffic. They have anything you could possibly want for the preparation of Asian cuisine and many items you wouldn't think they would have. Fresh quail eggs! They are knowledgeable and very helpful too. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. The parking is convenient.
